Their story

John, 27, and Joe, 25, are a couple who quit their jobs with $20,000 saved. Their next move was not a spreadsheet. It probably should have been.

The deal: chase $1 million in one year. Every online money idea they try goes on camera, including the awkward bits. She insisted on that last part.

Each episode starts with a real person's story and sourced numbers. Joe doubts the pitch. John brings the proof. Then they decide whether the idea is worth testing.
